The Addams Family Teaser: https://bit.ly/2FCmVtT

With music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, original direction and choreography by Debora Friedmann and musical direction by Sara Wunsch, WISTA’s The Addams Family brings Charles Addams' iconic comic-strip characters to ghoulish life as they are hurled headlong into a night that will change the family forever – an original and magnificently macabre musical comedy on what it means to be normal, to grow up, and to love.

The Addams Family Musical reminds us that love is more powerful then social norms, family expectations and even death itself. The Addams have always held a special place in my heart, teaching me to love my crazy and embrace the darkness in us all; I hope this show does the same for our audiences,” says Debora Friedmann, Director & Choreographer.

Secrets plague the Addams household as the clan prepares for the visit of Wednesday’s new boyfriend and his sunny, all-American parents. Truths are revealed when the families sit down to dinner, and chaos ensues as the characters are forced to wrestle with trust, love, and what normalcy really means. Add in a cast of mischievous Addams ancestors who’ve risen from their crypt and audiences will be pulled in for a haunted evening they’ll never forget!
